From that environment, Di Marca gathered the idea of theater not as simple representation, but as an experience capable of questioning the relationship between art and reality.
His poetics found nourishment in literature and the visual arts. The poet Isidore Ducasse, known by the pseudonym Comte de Lautréamont, and the artist Marcel Duchamp were two fundamental references: to the former he dedicated "The Comte de Lautréamont represents the Songs of Maldoror", and to the latter a series of works gathered under the title "Homage to Duchamp." Over the years, he also brought to the stage Shakespeare, Beckett, Joyce, Pirandello, Kafka, Genet, and many other authors, transforming their works into open materials, permeated by a contemporary sensibility.
"Fundamental to his story was the birth of the Meta-Theater, a company and space dedicated to the production and promotion of contemporary theater. More than a simple artistic project, the Meta-Theater represented a vision: that of a stage understood as a place of meeting, experimentation, and creative freedom. Among his numerous productions are "Ex Hamlet," "Waiting for Godot," "Endgame," the works dedicated to James Joyce, and the long journey inspired by the writer Roberto Bolaño. A career marked by fidelity to a single idea: theater as a permanent search, never confined to definitive formulas."
